Policies

At 2U Entertainment, we strive to make it the best gaming experience for all.

Please review our policies below.

DEPOSIT/REFUND/CANCELLATION POLICY:

A valid credit card or debit card is required to guarantee and pay for your 2U Entertainment reservation. A 50% deposit is due immediately after we confirm your date and time and payment, and balance must be paid in full a week prior to your event. (For businesses and entities that must pay by Purchase Order please contact us after booking and confirmation.) There will be a $25 cancellation fee for all parties or events canceled after payment is received. NO REFUND of your deposit if your cancellation occurs within 14 days of your event. 2U Entertainment will make every effort to postpone your event, with no penalty; to another date should cancellation be necessary.

TIPS/GRATUITY:

Our Game Coaches are there to make sure that your group is making the most of our high-tech fun. He/She tutors, inspires and entertains. Tipping for good service is highly recommended at 10-15%, but not required.

PRIVACY POLICY:

2U Entertainment is committed to protecting your privacy. We use the information we collect on the site to make bookings as simple as possible and to enhance your overall experience. We do not sell, trade or rent your personal information to others.

TRAVEL SURCHARGE:

A Travel/Fuel surcharge is applied for locations in excess of 30 miles from our home zip code of 55060.  Please see our Service Area page for fees.

BAD WEATHER: 

2U Entertainment puts the health and safety of our guests, staff and equipment as a priority. Although the game theater was designed for all types of weather conditions with insulation as well as climate controlled with heat and air, there may be occasions when the weather doesn’t cooperate. In the event of severe weather (lightening, very high winds, thunderstorm or tornado warnings, winter storms, flooding and/or extremely heavy rains) we may (and reserve the right to) reschedule your service. If weather forecasts are predicting these to occur, please contact us to begin the rescheduling process.

SUPERVISED CHILDREN:

2U Entertainment will require a parent or responsible adult to be present inside or just outside the Game Theater at all times. Children 6 years and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

ALCOHOL/DRUGS:

Alcohol may be served at a 2U Entertainment event however we reserve the right to refuse, cancel or cut short any party or booking when alcohol is being served if the situation gets out of control. Drinks of any sort are not allowed in the gaming theater. Drugs of any sort will not be tolerated in or around the 2U Equipment. Any observed use of illegal narcotics or legal narcotics used in an illegal manner will result in the termination of the party immediately.

FOOD AND DRINK:

We do not allow any food or drinks into the video game theater or on the ledge of the outdoor TV stations. Please have your guests consume them prior to entering.

DAMAGE/INJURY:

Neither 2U Entertainment nor any of its employees shall be responsible for any damage to property resulting from a request by the client to position the theater in a specific location. The includes both above and below ground property/equipment damage. 2U Entertainment reserves the right to charge the clients credit card for damages to the trailer or equipment resulting from the careless or willful damage, or lost and stolen equipment, of same by client’s guests. 2U Entertainment or their employees assume no responsibility for any injuries sustained on the client’s property or their designated location. All liability for damages or injuries is the sole responsibility of the client and/or host.

PICTURES/VIDEOS: While your party is in effect, the Game Coach may take pictures and or videos from inside and outside the trailer. We may use these photos on social media platforms or our website as marketing material. (You are free to copy the images to remember your day as well). We will not identify names or guests or exact location. If you choose not to have pictures posted online, please notify our Game Coach or indicate at the time of booking.

 OUR GAME THEATER:

We will try to park in the most level and logical spot to accommodate your party. Oftentimes we will park on a residential street. You may want to notify your neighbors so they are aware (in case they may object) or let us know if there’s a preferred spot for us to park. We may also have to block a driveway. Keep in mind, our truck and trailer combo is very long and will require a minimum of 60 feet to park.

AMOUNT OF PLAYERS AT ONE TIME:

2U Entertainment has the capability of having 28 gamers at once. This number is dependent on what games are being played on what system. 28 players are based on games capable of having 4 players on each of our 7 TV’s. Keep in mind some games are only equipped for 2 players. We are happy to provide outdoor games to entertain your guests if they have to wait.

GAME RATINGS/RESTRICTIONS:

2U Entertainment will not play any mature “M” rated games without a prior request from the client or an adults’ request during the event.

INTERNET:

If internet is accessible within 300 ft of the trailer, we are able to hard wire in from your home router. The majority of our games can be played without internet however certain games such as ROBLOX and Fortnite do require it. We are willing to try to connect to our wireless router but can’t guarantee we will be successful based on the location.

VIRTUAL REALITY DISCLAIMER PROVIDED BY OCULUS:

“Seizures: Some people may have severe dizziness, seizures, epileptic seizures or blackouts triggered by light flashes or patterns, and this may occur while they are watching TV, playing video games or experiencing virtual reality, even if they have never had a seizure or blackout before or have no history of seizures or epilepsy. Such seizures are more common in children and young people under the age of 20. Anyone who has had a seizure, loss of awareness, or other symptom linked to an epileptic condition should see a doctor before using the headset. Children: This product should not be used by children under the age of 13. Adults should monitor children (age 13 and older) who are using or have used the Headset for any of the symptoms described below, and should limit the time children spend using the Headset and ensure they take breaks during use. Prolonged use should be avoided, as this could negatively impact hand-eye coordination, balance, and multi-tasking ability. Adults should monitor children closely during and after use of the headset for any decrease in these activities.”
